How to enable and try Copilot
Copilot is a new feature that Microsoft introduced with Windows 11 and Microsoft Edge. It is an AI-powered assistant that can help you with various tasks, such as finding information, summarizing content, troubleshooting issues, and completing actions. Copilot can understand natural language and provide relevant and personalized responses. In this article, we will show you how to enable and try Copilot on your Windows 11 PC and Microsoft Edge browser.

Copilot is enabled by default on Windows 11, and you can access it by clicking the Copilot icon on the taskbar or using the Windows + C shortcut. If you don’t see the Copilot icon on the taskbar, you can enable it by following these steps:
– Open the Settings app on your Windows 11 PC.
– Select the Personalization section from the sidebar on the left.
– Scroll down and select Taskbar.
– Turn on the toggle switch next to the Copilot option.
Once Copilot is enabled, you will see the Copilot icon on the taskbar. You can also pin it to the Start menu or the desktop for easy access.

How to use Copilot on Windows 11

When you open Copilot, it will appear as a sidebar on the right edge of your screen. It won’t overlap with your desktop content and will run alongside your open app windows, so you can interact with it anytime you need. You can also resize or move the sidebar as you like.
Once launched, Copilot will show you three conversation modes to choose from:
– More Creative: The output will be more imaginative and inventive, but might lack in accuracy.
– More Precise: The output will be highly accurate and detailed, but may not be as creative.
– More Balanced: The output will be a blend of both creativity and accuracy, balancing the two aspects.
Choose the option that best suits your requirements. Copilot may also show you a sample task from its list of capabilities. You can click the task to try it out or type your own query in the text box. You can also use voice commands to talk to Copilot by clicking the microphone icon.
